Management of four architectural firms and twenty-four contractors and consultants for the design and construction of the spy museum, Zola restaurant, Spy City café, Spy retail store, special events, and management offices. Project involved extensive restoration of the five historic structures. The Spy Museum received the AIA Catalyst Award and hosted 700,000 visitors their first year, far exceeding all projections.
Project Description:
Development of a spy museum in the historic 800 block of F Street, integrating five historic buildings with a new 8 story office building. Development of the first spy museum to include coordinating historic, ada accessibility, multiple stand alone businesses, including Zola a white table cloth restaurant, café, special events space, office and all new infrastructure to support the facility. |
